We approach these domains not as belief systems or metaphysical debates, but as archives of observed effects—records of encounters, materials, and phenomena that can be studied for practical insight.
Close-encounter cases and anomalous reports are treated as clues and self-imposed design constraints, rather than conclusions about origin or intent.
Our work centers on building and prototyping as a way of knowing. We believe some questions cannot be resolved through theory, testimony, or speculation alone, but only by attempting to construct systems that satisfy the constraints implied by the data.
Future Folklore supports founders and researchers in translating early ideas into applied research programs, experimental platforms, and, where appropriate, new companies. Alongside external collaborations, we also incubate proprietary projects internally.
The next technology revolution will come from places that look less like defense contractors and more like monasteries, archives, and quiet rooms full of strange instruments and devoted practitioners.
